Download iOS 8.0.2 for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch [Direct Links]

Monday, September 29, 2014
This is just in. Apple has released iOS 8.0.2 download links for all the supported devices, including the very latest iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
Apple rolled out iOS 8.0.1 just yesterday, but upon updating, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus users began noticing some weird behavior. Straight after applying the update, many of those in ownership of the newest two smartphones out of Cupertino were greeted with no cellular service whatsoever, and with the fallout also indicating that Touch ID was out of action on iOS 8.0.1, it’s fair to say that the software update did more harm than good in many cases. Thus, Apple has scrambled to roll out iOS 8.0.2, and below, we’ve got the details on how you can get hold of it.
It’s not uncommon for a software update to deliver a new bug entirely, but while it can be annoying when a new build seems to merely shuffle issues around rather than completely fixing every snag, the troubles that have arisen with iOS 8.0.1 on the new iPhones has meant that Apple needed to act very promptly indeed. If the bug was, say, a minor UI issue, Apple could have simply waited and dealt with it in a future update with other fixes, but when folk have paid hundreds of dollars to acquire a new smartphone, they rightly expect to be able to use the cellular radio by default.

How To Downgrade iOS 8 To iOS 7.1.2

Sunday, September 21, 2014
Downgrade iOS 8 To iOS 7.1.2 (ALL devices supported)
Step 1. First and foremost, you’ll need the iOS 7.1.2 firmware file specific to your device.Download iOS 7.1.2 IPSW from here or ios 8.1.3 download.
Step 2. Next, connect your device to your computer, and fire up iTunes.
Step 3. Select your iOS device from the pane on the left hand side, and hold down the left SHIFT (PC) or Alt/Option (Mac) button while hitting the ‘Restore’ button.

Step 4. Browse to your iOS firmware file downloaded in Step 1.

Step 5. Follow the steps to restore your device back to factory settings. This will delete the contents of your device, hence the importance of backing up.
Step 6. The restore process can take anywhere from a couple of minutes to around half an hour, depending on the age of your device and the speed of your computer rig.
And there you have it. Your iOS device will be running iOS 7.1.2, meaning it’ll be jailbreakable via Pangu’s tool, and given that Apple won’t be signing iOS 7.1.2 for much longer, we cannot stress enough how swift you’ll need to be if you want to retain the old software.
Given the major changes Apple has made to iOS 8, most will be happy to stick with what they have, but with iPhone 4s users having encountered many glitches since updating, these steps offer perhaps the only immediate opt-out solution while Apple’s servers are still signing the older firmware.
